We’re happy to finally share with you the latest addition to Team Humming: Napoleon In Rags from Swindon, UK.
After playing BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury and sharing stages with the likes of Babyshambles and Bombay Bicycle Club, these guys have quite a buzz going on about them right now. Another reason for us to be happy that we can proudly announce that we’re releasing their single Empty Promises World Wide (ex UK) on September 9th. And it’s a pretty damn good single too…
Have a listen for yourselves! We’re currently giving away the single as a free download on SoundCloud alongside two great remixes by German electronic acts VIMES and WAFT AND BREEZE. Feel free to download, embedd in your blog, repost and spread the word. And then hopefully buy on September 9th to make the band and us even happier, ey?

Wow. It only feels like yesterday when we stood on a balcony somewhere in Berlin Friedrichshain and – after finishing 3 sixpacks of beer and a bottle of Vodka and dancing all night to Cloud Control’s video for Death Cloud – decided it would be a good idea to start a record label. Luckily we still remembered & liked the idea once we woke up on the next day.
Almost to the day , two years have now passed since we first started Humming Records and we feel blessed to have been able to release records by great artists such as Cloud Control, Flashguns, Red Drapes, Bravestation and In Golden Tears. Meanwhile we have also picked up managing promising artists such as In Golden Tears, VIMES and Main Fear Love and look forward to going a long way with them.
We’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everybody who’s been a part of our journey so far, thank you to all our friends and supporters, thank you to all of our fantastic artists, thank you to everybody who’s been buying or listening to our releases. And: (Hello 2011) Thank you to everybody who likes our Facebook page and reposts the stuff we share.
You can be sure that we’ll continue to look for – and of course find – some of today’s most interesting (and awesome) artists and share them with you. To be honest, we have already found a few more and will be telling you all about them in the next few weeks – so stay tuned!

Ladies and Gentlemen, we’re incredibly happy to present to you the latest member of the Humming family: Canada’s finest Trop Pop / Tribewavers Bravestation.
Check out the video for White Wolves and download their debut single + last year’s EP for FREE right here. The boys are currently adding the finishing touches to their first album – and believe us: It’s going to be huge! Bravestation are heading over to Europe this summer for some festivals and club shows. Make sure you catch them if you’re around!
