Lie Ning

Born in Berlin, a mixture of languages, images and melodies surrounded the young life, creating an interest for dance, fashion and fine art. But what engages him most is music. From early on his mother showed him a world of rhythm and melodies, which would never let go of him again. His voice emerged as the most powerful means of expression. Everything LIE NING couldn’t convey visually he wrote into songs. In 2019, shortly after releasing his debut-EP, LIE NING played his first gig supporting american singer and 5-time Grammy nominee Raphael Saadiq. Followed by supporting the hyped up and coming German electronica/ independent duo ÄTNA (Anchor Award Winner 2020). After a break due to Covid in 2020, he supported the record breaking and multiplatinum German rock band Milky Chance and the German indie band Giant Rooks (#3 chart position with debut album) for shows and festivals all over Germany in 2021. Currently, LIE NING is working on his debut album with Grammy awarded producer Stephen Fitzmaurice (Sam Smith, Seal, Mary J. Blige & Alicia Keys).
